Leeds fanzine pays tribute to Ken Bates... with a blank page

It doesn’t look like they’re too upset to see the back of the former chairman.

LEEDS UNITED OPEN their season in the Championship with the visit of Brighton Hove Albion to Elland Road.

Just last week, club chairman Ken Bates was sacked by new owners GFH over signing a contract with a private jet company so he could fly back and forth to Yorkshire from his home in Monaco.

Most Leeds fans will be glad to see the back of the 81-year-old and this tribute from club fanzine The Square Ball speaks volumes.

The two-page spread is completely blank.
