Apparently England's fourth choice scrum-half told number five to pipe down last night

There was some big talk from Northampton’s Lee Dickson yesterday.

A LOT OF scrum-halves resemble Jack Russell Terries – not the biggest dog in the fight but they’ve lots of energy and love to yap. Northampton’s Lee Dickson definitely falls into that category.

He is a very good passer and a sniping threat but occasionally his love of gesticulating towards the referee detracts from his all-round game. Last night Northampton took on Wasps and Dickson was going up against Joe Simpson.

Both Dickson and Simpson have been involved in England squads in the past but are a bit back in the queue at the moment. And according to Wasps out-half Andy Goode, the Northampton nine had a bit to say to his rival during his team’s win last night.

Presumably Goode has Ben Youngs ranked one and then Richard Wigglesworth and Danny Care behind him.

Dickson and Simpson are both great scrum-halves but it is pretty funny that Dickson is slagging off the Wasps man for being a place ahead of him in the pecking order.
