CHAMPIONS SLIGO ROVERS continued their 100% start to the season with a comfortable 3-1 win at Dundalk tonight.
The Bit O’ Red were two goals to the good at half-time thanks to strikes from Raffaele Cretaro and Gavin Peers.
The in-form Anthony Elding notched his fourth of the season after the break, effectively killing the game as a contest, before the home side grabbed a consolation through a long-range Kurtis Byrne strike.
Limerick earned their first win of the year — 3-1 — at home to UCD, meanwhile. Darragh Rainsford notched a brace, one either side of a goal from the busy-looking Dave O’Leary.
