Here's which British clubs are playing friendlies in Ireland this summer

Aston Villa, West Brom, West Ham and newly-promoted Crystal Palace will all be in action here over the coming weeks.

A HOST OF England’s top clubs are set to play in Ireland this summer as part of their pre-season preparations.

Aston Villa, West Brom, West Ham and newly-promoted Crystal Palace have all agreed friendlies against Airtricity League opposition in advance of the 2013/2014 Premier League kick-off.

In addition a “Manchester United XI” play Waterford United in the RSC on 18 July while Cork City host a “Glasgow Celtic XI” in Turner’s Cross on 21 July.

Here’s a list of the 22 approved friendlies, released today by the FAI:

  • July 2: Shelbourne v Peterborough United, Tolka Park, 7.45pm.
  • July 3: UCD U19s v Peterborough United U18s, The UCD Bowl, 5pm.
  • July 3: UCD v Peterborough United, The UCD Bowl, 7.45pm.
  • July 6: Shelbourne v Ipswich Town, Tolka Park, 5pm.
  • July 7: Cork City v West Ham United, Turner’s Cross, 6pm.
  • July 8: St. James’s Gate v MK Dons, Iveagh Grounds, 7.45pm.
  • July 8: Shamrock Rovers v Birmingham City, Tallaght Stadium, 8pm.
  • July 9: Athlone Town v Port Vale, Athlone Town Stadium, 7.45pm.
  • July 9: UCD v MK Dons, The UCD Bowl, 7.45pm.
  • July 13: Bohemians v Derby County, Dalymount Park, 3pm.
  • July 13: Bray Wanderers v Port Vale, Carlisle Grounds, 3pm.
  • July 15: Cork City v Burnley, Turner’s Cross, 7pm.
  • July 16: Athlone Town v Bradford City Athlone Town Stadium 7.45pm.
  • July 16: UCD v Aberdeen, The UCD Bowl, 7.45pm.
  • July 18: Waterford United v Manchester United XI, RSC, 7.45pm.
