John Terry gets the assist as Lavezzi thumps home PSG's opening goal

PSG lead Chelsea 2-1 in tonight’s Champions League quarter-final first leg.

IT HAS BEEN a bad few days for John Terry.

On Saturday he scored the own goal which saw Chelsea lose 1-0 against struggling Crystal Palance and manager Jose Mourinho pronounce their Premier League title hopes dead.

Tonight his weak header fell to Ezequiel Lavezzi who rocketed Paris Saint-Germain into the lead after just four minutes of their Champions League quarter-final first leg in Paris.

To give Lavezzi his due, it still took a pretty emphatic finish to beat Petr Cech and score.

Chelsea equalised through an Eden Hazard penalty but PSG lead 2-1 thanks to a David Luiz own goal on the hour mark.
