SEAN MOORE HIT a sensational hat-trick as Laois minors saw off Wicklow at O’Moore Park last night.
They were 5-13 to 1-13 winners after a frenzied finish to their Leinster MFC losers group round 2 clash.
It was level at 1-13 apiece with seven minutes or so remaining before Moore stepped it up with Brian Byrne and Jake Foster also raising green flags for Laois on the night.
Elsewhere, Kildare edged out Offaly on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-13 at O’Connor Park in Tullamore.
The Lilywhites now play Laois in the quarter final.
