OSCAR NIGHT IS only days away but for a different set of Hollywood stars, there was work to be done in Dublin on Wednesday.

Robbie Keane and his LA Galaxy team-mates are in the capital ahead of a friendly against Shamrock Rovers this weekend.

The MLS giants sampled some of the city’s cultural offerings last weekend, supping pints of the black stuff at the Guinness Storehouse, before attending to some more important business this afternoon.

Keane was joined by AJ DeLaGarza and Pat Noonan for a visit to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.

There the Tallaght native handed over a donation of $50,000 (€44,000) to the hospital’s fundraising arm, CMRF Crumlin, on behalf of the Galaxy and their sponsors Herbalife.

After spending time with some patients, it was off to Áras an Uachtaráin where the team and coach Bruce Arena were hosted by President Michael D Higgins.

How many of these Irish international footballers from the 00s can you remember?
