KOBE BRYANT TOOK his place in an elite NBA club last night with 29 points against the New Orleans Hornets, passing 30,000 career points and becoming the youngest player to reach the milestone.

At 34 years and 104 days old, Bryant joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain on the list of players to make it to 30k.

Chamberlain, previously the youngest, was 35 years and 179 days when he hit the mark, though he did in far fewer games than Kobe.
