Kilkenny make four changes ahead of Wexford quarter-final

Henry Shefflin and Jonjo Farrell drop out of the starting XV.

BRIAN CODY AND his selectors have continued with the rotation policy they have adopted throughout the league by making four changes from the side that so comprehensively dealt with Waterford last weekend.

While the Cats retain the same full-back line ahead of the visit to Wexford, Conor Fogarty and Kieran Joyce replace Brian Kennedy and Cillian Buckely at wing-back.

Padraig Walsh and Richie Hogan continue their midfield partnership but Henry Shefflin is replaced by TJ Reid in the half-forward line despite slotting over seven points last weekend.

The only other change sees Richie Power come in to the starting XV for the quarter-final clash, the Carrickshock man replacing Jonjo Farrell at corner-forward.

Throw-in at Wexford Park is 3.30pm on Sunday.

Kilkenny team to play Wexford: Eoin Murphy (Glenmore); Paul Murphy (Danesfort), JJ Delaney (Fenians), Joey Holden (Ballyhale Shamrocks); Conor Fogarty (Erins Own), Jackie Tyrrell (James Stephens), Kieran Joyce (Rower Inistioge); Padraig Walsh (Tullaroan), Richie Hogan (Danesfort); Watler Walsh (Tullogher Rosbercon), Colin Fennelly (Ballyhale Shamrocks), TJ Reid (Ballyhale Shamrocks); Richie Power (Carrickshock), Mark Kelly (O’Loughlin Gaels), Eoin Larkin (James Stephens).
