Kilkenny welcome a TV star back into the starting team to face their greatest rivals

Meanwhile, Eamon O’Shea has kept faith with the Tipperary 15 that beat Clare last weekend.

THEY PLAYED TWO epic games last September and if Sunday’s encounter between Tipperary and Kilkenny in Thurles is half as good it will be worth the price of admission.

Brian Cody has made three changes to the side that lost to Galway last weekend, with Jackie Tyrrell returning to the starting team after his televised attempt at baseball, which aired on TV3 last night.

Also, Brian Kennedy replaces the injured Padraig Walsh in the half-back line while Mark Phelan moves to midfield, with Ger Aylward coming in for Willie Phelan.

Tipperay’s team is unchanged from their win over Clare.

The game takes place at 2pm this Sunday at Semple Stadium.
