Brian Cody: preparing for his 16th Liam MacCarthy decider as boss. James Crombie/INPHO

Cody keeps returning big names in reserve as he names side for Galway clash

Is this the side to claim Liam on Sunday?

BRIAN CODY HAS named an unchanged side for Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC final against Galway.

Jackie Tyrrell and Richie Power are named on the bench.

Tyrrell injured his foot in July, forcing him to undergo surgery.

29-year-old Power meanwhile has not featured this year because of knee injuries.  Mark Kelly and Conor Martin make way on the bench.

It is a first All-Ireland decider for Shane Prendergast and Ger Aylward, who has overcome a knock to make the side.

Eoin Larkin and Michael Fennelly were also injury concerns but are named in the XV.
