Watch the Kilkenny squad call over to Tommy Walsh's house and his mother's reaction

The Cats are certainly enjoying themselves after sealing yet another All-Ireland title at the weekend.

THE KILKENNY HURLERS have rightly been enjoying themselves over the last few days, ever since they beat Tipp to wrap up a 35th All-Ireland title on Saturday evening.

All-Ireland victories are as good as it gets for a GAA player and the Cats continued their celebrations yesterday by calling over to Tommy Walsh’s house to bring him along, like the sound men they are.

Whether Walsh wanted to head on the beer with his team-mates or not, he had no choice in the matter as the entire panel hopped his wall and descended on his living room window, before his mother arrived in the gate behind them.

They undoubtedly went on to enjoy a great night afterwards and hopefully, for his mother’s sake, the nine-time Allstar joined the party sooner rather than later.

Derek Lyng: ‘I wasn’t expecting the call from Cody, but I didn’t take long to say yes’

Jackie Tyrrell: ‘Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I’d win 8 All-Irelands’

Just watched it on MOTD. Unbelievable how Barkley stayed on the pitch, Ashley Williams too. Koeman has no right to complain about the referee and the tackles according to the highlights shown by BBC

@Conor O’Neill: Chan stood on Barkleys arm too so worth a mention to balance your comment. But no excuse for either Barkley tackle or Williams stamp. Straight red to both and I’m evertonian. The later I’m surprised with after what happened mid week with Coleman. But that game today proved neither of these clubs are serious challengers. Everton were awful and Liverpool were marginally better. Coutinho is quality and Mane also a handful. Other than that I don’t understand the excitement.

Barkley couldve seen red but i honestly dont think he meant it.Williams lucky as well.we couldve had 2 extra men and still wouldnt have won.that red jersey just makes our players shite themselves.unbelievably frustrating

@Fran Heavey: there’s certainly some mental block for Everton when they come to Anfield. Regardless of the form of either side, who’s injured, who’s playing Everton just never seem to show up when they go there.
