The seven-time All-Ireland winner says he departs the Cats’ senior set-up with ‘no regrets

BRIAN CODY HAS lost another Kilkenny hurling veteran.

In the week that Eddie Brennan hung up his balck-and-amber jersey, goalkeeper PJ Ryan last night folowed suit.

The seven-time All-Ireland winner said however, that he departs the Noresiders’ senior set-up with ‘no regrets’.

“I arrived with nothing but hope, and I left with a pocketful of medals. I was blessed to be part of Kilkenny hurling during a golden era,” said the 34-year-old.

The Fenians clubman was man-of-the-match in Kilkenny’s thrilling 2009 final victory over Tipperary.
