GOALS FROM RORY Feely, Conor Hartley and Michael Kelly made the difference as Kildare minors ran out comfortable winners over Laois in this Leinster Championship semi-final.
Each one came at crucial moments in what was an low scoring affair until the latter stages.
Kelly was first to hit the net, his 20th minute strike opening up a five-point gap before Feely and Hartley punced before the half ended with scoreline reading 3 – 3 to 0 – 2.
That 10-point gap was reduced to eight by Laois after the break, but there would be no great erosion in the deficit and Kildare were able to hit back and pick off their scores to ensure there would be no late drama.
