Four changes for Kildare as they look to save Division 1 status

Jason Ryan has brought in some new faces ahead of Derry clash.

KILDARE MANAGEMENT HAVE decided some fresh faces are in order as they look to stave off relegation when they face high-flying Derry in Celtic Park this Sunday.

Jason Ryan has called in David Hyland at corner-back, with Hugh McGrillen returning to wing-back and Gary White named at six.

Hugh Lynch will take the Sarsfields man’s place in midfield alongside Tommy Moolick.

While there’s no change to Kildare’s full-foward line, Eoghan O’Flaherty moves out to the wing with Séan Hurley making way.

Kildare have not released their full squad but it is expected that both John Doyle and Niall Kelly will feature.

Kildare team to face Derry: Shane Connolly; Mick O’Grady, Michael Foley, David Hyland; Hugh McGrillen, Gary White, Keith Cribbin; Tommy Moolick, Hugh Lynch; Cathal McNally, Mikey Conway, Eoghan O’Flaherty; Paddy Brophy, Tomás O’Connor, Darroch Mulhall.
