Connacht scrum half Kieran Marmion escapes ban

He’s free to play for the Wolfhounds against the Saxons on Saturday.

KIERAN MARMION IS free to play for the Ireland Wolfhounds this weekend after ERC bosses decided against a ban today.

The Connacht scrum half was cited for an incident which occurred during the defeat to Saracens in the Heineken Cup last weekend.

The citing was upheld but the offence was deemed ‘not worthy of a red card’.

Oisin is one of the stars of the future. Great win for Cashel. I’ve never seen this happen before.

@Shawn: commentators missed it inititally as well yeah. Reds midfielder drives it over one end from the throw in and then they score down the other end straight after! Gas!
