Kidney names 33-man training squad ahead of Wales match

The RBS 6 Nations Championship gets underway next weekend.

DECLAN KIDNEY HAS announced a 33-man squad for training this week, ahead of next weekend’s RBS 6 Nations opener against Wales.

The Ireland coach has named 11 players from the Ireland Wolfhounds side that narrowly lost to the England Saxons in Galway on Friday night.

Both Paddy Jackson and Dave McSharry are included, despite picking up minor knocks in that game, and they will meet the rest of the squad in Carton House on Sunday evening.

The Irish team to face Wales next Saturday will be named on Tuesday afternoon.
