Ireland's Kevin LeBlanc holds his nerve to win the Junior Open Championship

While the overnight leaders fell away in the final round, LeBlanc scrambled around the course in 74.

IRELAND’S KEVIN LEBLANC carded a two-over par 74 to seal victory at the Junior Open Championship at West Lancashire golf club today.

LeBlanc, a member of The Island golf club in north Dublin, went in to today’s third and final day one shot behind Teodoro Soldati and Dianne Baillieux.

However, both the Italian and Belgian both stumbled to rounds of 76 while LeBlanc held his nerve with a round of two birdies, four bogeys and 12 pars to claim the title.
