IRELAND STRIKER KEVIN Doyle has left QPR and returned to his parent club Wolves after suffering a knee injury that is likely to keep him out of action for at least six weeks.
Speaking to reporters, QPR boss Harry Redknapp said: “Kevin’s injury is long term and he’s gone back to Wolves.
“He’s tweaked his knee ligament and he’s certainly going to be out for at least six weeks. It’s a long job, unfortunately.”
The striker scored two goals in six games during his brief time at the club.
