KERRY MANAGER CIARÁN Carey has named his starting 15 for Sunday’s Leinster senior hurling championship round-robin opener at home to Carlow.
It’s a debut in Leinster for the Kingdom, who won the Christy Ring Cup last year while also securing promotion to Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League.
Kerry held their own in the second tier this year, avoiding relegation by defeating Laois in a play-off and now they’re preparing for a return to provincial action for the first time in 12 years.
There are two changes in personnel to the side that defeated Laois – Colum Harty comes into the half-forward line in place of Brendan O’Leary with Jack Goulding given the nod at corner forward ahead of Jordan Conway.
