Kerry name team for their second Leinster hurling championship fixture

The Kingdom face Westmeath on Saturday.

KERRY HURLING MANAGER Ciarán Carey has named his team for Saturday’s Leinster senior championship round-robin clash with Westmeath.

The starting XV shows one change in personnel from the side which made history against Carlow in last week’s opener as Brendan O’Leary replaces Colum Harty in the half-forward line.

It’s the Kingdom’s debut season in Leinster after winning the Christy Ring Cup last year while also securing promotion to Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League.

Carey’s charges opened their campaign with a 2-19 to 0-17 victory over Carlow in their inaugural fixture last Saturday and will be looking to make it two from two this time out.

Throw-in at Austin Stack Park is at 3pm on Saturday.
