WATERFORD HURLING GREAT Ken McGrath has announced that his autobiography will be released in October.
McGrath made the announcement on Twitter last night that his life story ‘Hand On Heart’ will be published.
The 39 year-old enjoyed a brilliant hurling career with Waterford and is one of the greatest players never to have won an All-Ireland senior hurling medal.
He came closest in 2008 when Waterford lost the final to Kilkenny while also competing in several All-Ireland semi-finals.
McGrath won four Munster senior hurling medals in 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2010, along with a National hurling league medal in 2007.
In 2002, 2004 and 2007, McGrath’s playing exploits saw him receive All-Star awards while he won six county senior medals with his club Mount Sion and a Munster senior club medal in 2002.
