IN THE SPACE of a couple of seconds, Ken Duke went from producing one of the weirdest shots of the 2014 US Open, to one of the best.
After his tee-shot on the par-3 ninth came up short, it rolled into one of the wiregrass bushes that are spread around Pinehurst.
He thought about chipping the ball sideways, or trying to putt through the grass, but eventually decided to just roll it into the bunker.
Not content with settling for a bogey though, the 45-year old did this:
The American is currently +3 but, after that shot, we hope he makes the cut.
