‘Lucky Break’ follows Doherty as he tries to unearth the game’s next star and help them to achieve their dream.

The winner will receive a year’s scholarship to train under the 1997 World Snooker Champion as well as a €1,000 prize.
“I didn’t have much talent but I worked hard, I grafted, I practiced hard,” Doherty explained.
“That’s someone that I will be looking for, that if you give them that opportunity they know the importance of it and they will try and seize it. They won’t waste it.”
