VIDEO: Keith Earls leaves Rob Kearney in his wake as Munster beat Leinster

The winger beat a diving tackle from the Leinster fullback to score the game’s only try.

KEITH EARLS WILL insist to anyone willing to listen that he sees his home, for club and country, at inside centre. The Munster back, however, continues to prove himself stunningly adept on the wings.

A proven international left winger, Earls started this evening interprovincial clash against Leinster on the right but the selection of coach Rob Penney proved inspired.

The Moyross native claimed a perfectly judged crossfield kick from Ian Keatley and stepped Rob Kearney on the outside to score. The Leinster fullback was burned on the outside by Cardiff Blues’ winger Alex Cuthbert last weekend but the Blues beat the Welsh side at the RDS.

Earl’s first-half score was the only try of a hard-fought game at Thomond Park as Munster triumphed 19 — 15. Ian Madigan kicked four penalties for Leinster with Fergus McFadden adding a three-pointer when the Blues outhalf was in the sin-bin. Here is the crucial Earls score:
