JUAN ‘CHIQUITO’ FLORES should still be hanging his head in shame after this one.

Yesterday, his Peruvian Primera Division trip to Sporting Cristal for Union Comercio was ticking along quite nicely for the first five minutes. At that point, Flores inexplicably decided to indulge in what looks to us like time-wasting.

It wasn’t enough for him to dribble across his box, he then has to feign a clearance with an attacker closing him down.

Then the Benny Hill music starts in his head…

Irven Avila gratefully accepted the gift to give Cristal a lead they would carry through to half time. The error left the struggling Union Comercio with too much to do and an own goal from Joaquín Lencinas  made it 2-0  and sealed their fate.
