Robbie Keane declared fit to travel to Faroes, Keogh ruled out

Keane seems to have recovered from a knock that kept him out of the Germany game.

IRELAND STRIKER ROBBIE Keane has been declared fit to travel to the Faroe Islands, ahead of the team’s World Cup qualifier in Torshavn on Tuesday.

Keane missed the team’s recent game against Germany, and had been a doubt for the upcoming clash.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s goalscorer in the German game, Andy Keogh, has been ruled out of the tie.

Keogh picked up a knock in training and has since been declared unfit to travel for the game, after being assessed overnight by the FAI’s medical team.
