WORLD CHAMPION KATIE Taylor kicked off three fights in the space of 48 hours with a win over Marija Petric at Cork’s Rochestown Park Hotel last night.

Ireland’s Olympic gold medallist faced her Croatian opponent in the lightweight bout and earned a unanimous decision over four rounds.

The 27-year-old lightweight returns to the ring tonight when she meets Anais Kistler of Switzerland before facing American Kristin Karlson at Waterford’s Dungarvan Sports Centre on Saturday.
