Olympic champion Taylor called into the Grand Slam-winning camp yesterday to meet the team and present them with their jerseys.
“What a legend,” team captain Fiona Coghlan tweeted while Taylor herself said it was “an honour… and a privilege.”
Ireland got their Six Nations defence up and running in scintillating style last week, running in 11 tries against Scotland, while Wales were narrowly beaten by Italy.
