Ireland’s gold medallist from London 2012 wrapped up her intense weekend of boxing action in style and will enter the 2014 European Championships with confidence abounding.
The lightweight champion then took on Swiss boxer Anais Kisler and had was not deterred despite a brief flurry, in the early stages, from her opponent. Taylor won all four rounds and Kisler was forced to take a standing count in the fourth round.

Unanimous was the judges decision on Friday night, at Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork, as Taylor began her 48-hour odyssey in winning style. The 27-year-old was a comfortable winner over Croatia’s Marija Petric.
