ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI SWAPPED Borussia Dortmund for Bayern Munich in the summer but there were no hard feelings this evening when he shared a warm embrace with his former manager Jurgen Klopp.
The 26 year-old spent four years at Dortmund and was a key ingredient in the club’s back-to-back Bundesliga successes in 2011 and 2012, as well as their run to the Champions League final last year.
The striker’s move to Dortmund’s bitter rivals was certainly not as acrimonious as Mario Goetze’s had been a year prior though Klopp made a point of also seeking out the 22 year-old before kick-off too.

Rather inevitably though, Lewandowski popped up with an equaliser with less than twenty minutes to go – finishing smartly past Roman Weidenfeller with Dortmund noticeably struggling.
Whoops!

And with 5 minutes to, Ribery controversially went down in the area under a challenge from Subotic and Bayern were awarded a penalty which Arjen Robben converted and ran out 2-1 winners.
It was the first time since 2010 that Bayern defeated Dortmund in a league game on home soil.
