JVDF steps in again with Sean O'Brien officially ruled out of Wallabies Test

The Wicklow man has played a lot of rugby this month despite not being named on a single starting line-up.

IT’S NO SURPRISE, but Ireland have made a last-minute change to the starting line-up for today’s November Test against Australia as Sean O’Brien has succumbed to injury.

The Tullow Tank did not train at yesterday’s Captain’s Run with defence coach Andy Farrell reporting a ‘lower limb tweak’ as an issue that he felt would clear up overnight.

O’Brien though, has not been able to prove his fitness and so he is replaced in the number seven jersey by Josh van der Flier with Munster captain Peter O’Mahony promoted to the replacements bench.
