Joseph Duffy to return to UFC action in Las Vegas in July

The Donegal native will take to the octagon this summer.

IRISH LIGHTWEIGHT JOSEPH Duffy will return to the octagon to face Canada’s Mitch Clarke at UFC Fight Night 90 on 7 July.

The Donegal fighter will be looking to bounce back from his defeat to Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas at an event which is headlined by Rafael Dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez.

Duffy suffered only his second defeat in 16 fights in January and will now look to work his way back up to the top in the lightweight division.

The 28-year-old took the UFC by storm with two first-round stoppages in his first two appearances and now has a shot at redemption at the MGM Grand this summer.

The event takes place in the middle of International Fight Week as part of the build-up to UFC 200.
