Centre Jonathan Joseph recalled to England squad after being dropped for Italy

Henry Slade is the only member of the weekend’s matchday 23 to miss out this week.

DESPITE RETURNING TO training with Saracens yesterday, there is still no sign of Billy Vunipola returning to England camp.

Eddie Jones named a 27-man squad for this week’s training preparation, with Bath duo Anthony Watson and Jonathan Joseph among the call-ups – the latter returning after being left out of the controversial meeting with Italy.

Henry Slade is the only man to feature in the matchday 23 against Italy on Sunday yet miss out on this group.

Along with centre Joseph and flying wing Watson, Ellis Genge, Paul Hill and Mike Williams have been added for the training week ahead of the Calcutta Cup meeting with Scotland on 11 March in Twickenham.

Mako Vunipola and Kyle Sinckler will join Watson, Genge, Hill and Williams in returning to the clubs this weekend for Aviva Premiership duty.
