Jose was asked if Chelsea are boring and seriously trolled Arsene Wenger in response

The Chelsea boss can never resist slagging off his rival.

ARSENE WENGER WILL go down as one of football’s best ever managers when he finally steps away from Arsenal but there is no getting around his record against Jose Mourinho.

The Special One has faced Wenger 13 times as a manager and has yet to be defeated, winning seven times and drawing the other six.

After today’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal, the Chelsea boss was asked about the ‘boring, boring Chelsea’ chants that reverberated around the Emirates.

In response, Jose couldn’t resist having another dig at Arsenal and the man he called a ‘specialist in failure’ last season.

“I think boring is 10 years without a title – that’s boring,” Mourinho said to the BBC.

“If you support a club and you wait, wait, wait for so many years without a Premier League title, then that’s boring. Maybe Arsenal’s fans were not singing to us. When you want to win the game and you take your striker Olivier Giroud off maybe they want more, maybe they want Giroud and Theo Walcott up front. This boring team has got the second highest number of goals, has the best goal difference. Only Manchester City have scored more goals than us.”

The arrival of Mourinho in England coincided with the downturn in Arsenal’s fortunes under Wenger. In the seven seasons before Jose came from Porto, Wenger won the Premier League three times and the FA Cup three times.

Since then, Arsenal have won just two FA Cups. But even putting trophies to one side, the fact that Wenger has yet to beat a Mourinho managed team is remarkable.
