Jose Mourinho agrees personal terms with Man United - reports

It’s also being suggested that free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be the manager’s first signing.

JOSE MOURINHO IS one step closer to being confirmed as Manchester United manager, according to reports tonight.

Sky Sports News this evening say that Mourinho has agreed terms with the club, who are understood to be hopeful that the deal will be finalised by the end of the week.

Mourinho has been heavily linked with the Man United job since being sacked as Chelsea boss back in December.

After Van Gaal’s Old Trafford departure was confirmed yesterday despite their recent FA Cup final win, it now seems only a matter of time before the Portuguese coach’s appointment is made official.

Meanwhile, reports suggest free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be Mourinho’s first signing at the club, after the Swedish international called time on his four-year spell at PSG.

It is also claimed that Ibrahimovic could earn up to £34 million should he agree to a two-year deal with the Red Devils.
