JORDAN SPIETH BEGAN his defence of the Hero World Challenge today with a hole-in-one in his first round at Albany, Bahamas.

Regarded as golf’s most exclusive tournament, the Hero World Challenge — which is hosted by Tiger Woods — features a select group of 18 of the top-ranked golfers in the world.
Spieth, who won the tournament last year, hit an ace on just his second hole today, making a perfect connection with a six-iron at the 172-yard par-three.
The world number one has now scored a hole-in-one in each of his three seasons on the PGA Tour.
Spieth finished his opening round on five-under-par, one shot off leading trio Jimmy Walker, Zach Johnson and Paul Casey.
