TOTTENHAM HAVE ANNOUNCED the departures of assistant manager Kevin Bond and first-team coach Joe Jordan.

The pair follow Harry Redknapp out of White Hart Lane after he was sacked two weeks ago for failing to agree terms over a new contract.

It was Redknapp who brought both men to north London upon his appointment in October 2008 as Juande Ramos’ successor, with Bond joining immediately and Jordan following on 7 November.

An announcement on Tottenham’s official website said: “Kevin and Joe joined after Harry’s appointment in 2008. We should like to thank them for their contribution and achievements during their time at the Club and wish them all the best for the future.”

Bond worked as a coach and assistant to Redknapp at Portsmouth performing a similar role at Newcastle during a four month spell which ended in September 2006. He then took over as Bournemouth manager in October of the same year but was sacked two years later just four games into the 2008/09 season before reuniting with Redknapp at Spurs.

Jordan also worked with the 65-year-old at Pompey before leaving Fratton Park to join his former South Coast cohort and famously had a touchline altercation with AC Milan midfielder Genero Gattuso after the Champions League quarter-final clash at the San Siro this year.
