VIDEO: Welsh centre Jonathan Davies bodypops his way to a super try

The challenge has been thrown down to his Lions jersey rival, Brian O’Driscoll.

SCARLETS CENTRE JONATHAN DAVIES is putting in a late bid for inclusion on the Lions tour to Australia.

The Welshman, who is in direct competition with Brian O’Driscoll for the outside centre slot in the Lions squad, whipped out some breakdancing skills to put his side ahead against Dragons.

Taking a pass from Lloyd Williams, Davies looked set to score before he found himself on the turf and facing the wrong way.

Ingenuity kicked in and his score put Scarlets on track for a win that placed them in the Pro12 top four.

Winger George North ran in two powerful tries and Owen Williams kicked 13 points to give Scarlets a 28-20 win at the Millennium Stadium.

2012 league champions, Ospreys ran out 23-16 winners over Cardiff Blues in the second match of the double-header at the Welsh rugby headquarters.

Leigh Halfpenny, with 16 points, ploughed a lonely furrow for Blues, who scored tries through Jonathan Spratt and the nimble-handed blindside James King.

The wins for Ospreys and Scarlets make it all the more likely that Munster, now 11 points back, will miss out on the league playoffs.
