Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson prank UFC president Dana White with fake brawl

It turns out they’re the best of buds really.

THE UFC held a media day in Los Angeles yesterday, where lightheavyweight champion Jon Jones and his latest challenger Anthony Johnson squared up ahead of their title fight at UFC 187 in May.

For a moment it looked like there would be similar scenes to the infamous brawl which broke out between Jones and Daniel Cormier last year — with UFC president Dana White the only thing keeping the pair apart.

However, it quickly became clear that the two fighters had pre-planned the mock scuffle and White eventually saw the funny side of it.

Well it wasn’t Performance Enhancing Drugs, it was cocaine so he’s not gaining any advantage.

Rumour has it, believe it or not, that Jones was found to have lower than average testosterone levels after the Cormier fight, leading to suspicions that a masking agent had been used. The subsequent positive cocaine result is a distraction ploy by the UFC and seen to be the lesser of 2 evils and a way to hush the media, in the face of a more serious allegation of the masking agent. Can’t be bothered looking for the source but it’s out there.
