ALLSTAR NOMINEE JONATHAN Glynn may not feature for Galway this season.
The Ardrahan clubman, man of the match in Galway’s thrilling All-Ireland quarter-final win over Cork last summer, moved to the United States in the autumn.
He was due to return after a few months but new manager Micheál Donoghue said he is not sure if the bustling forward will be back this season.
Glynn moved to America after Galway’s defeat to Kilkenny in last year’s All-Ireland final and has yet to indicate whether he will be moving home to return to the Galway panel.
Donoghue, who has taken over the reins from Anthony Cunningham, has spoken to Glynn and remains hopeful that he may return.
“Johnny went to America, but I’ve spoken to him on a few occasions. It’s just ongoing at the moment,” said Donoghue.
“We’re respectful of what he wanted to do and it’s something we’ll revisit in a few weeks’ time. Hopefully we can work out something together.”
Wonder if it was the other way around and Levante fielded an illegible player would thd result be the same
Big clubs always win
@Denis Doyle: That’s Liverpool fu**ed so this season.
@Sean O’Shea: the ‘Pool haven’t won a thing yet but have all the haters scuttering ….. I absolutely love it.
@John Hayes: Too Easy.
Surely it is the Spanish FAs duty to investigate if there is a transgression of their rules.
If the shoe were on the other foot & Levante has fielded the ineligible player & won….
