John O'Shea, here are your best bits

In video: As well as five Premier League winner’s medals, an FA Cup win and a Champions League victory in his back pocket, O’Shea leaves with plenty of memories.

IT SEEMS THE curtain will fall on John O’Shea’s 13-year Manchester United career later today.

The Waterford man is expected to complete a move to Steve Bruce’s Sunderland after a medical at the Stadium of Light.

At the time of writing some 54% of you think it’s a good move for the Ireland international.

As well as five Premier League winner’s medals, an FA Cup win and a Champions League victory in his back pocket, O’Shea leaves with plenty of memories.

Here’s some of our favourites:

1. Sheasy nutmegs one Luis Figo

Whatever happened this guy? O’Shea made a fool out of one of the game’s best on a night in which he shined against Real Madrid. Take a bow, son.

2. Chip against Arsenal

He lobbed Almunia to put the cap on a memorable night for United, beating the Gunenrs 4-2 in London. The celebration is either effortless cool or genuine disbelief.

3. The winner against Liverpool

This one comes courtesy of reader Joe Jackson; a crucial goal against the arch enemy at Anfield.

4. Showing his versatility

Always a willing squad player, he played in almost every position on the pitch…

5. The worst miss ever?

I’ve done worse than this….
