Wave 'em like you just don't care: John O'Shea scored ANOTHER goal tonight

Sadly for the Waterford man, Chelsea still won this seven-goal thriller.

FRESH FROM ENDING his international decade without a goal last month, John O’Shea has continued his prolific – that’s three goals this year – run of form with this lovely finish into the bottom corner.

Unfortunately for Sheasy, although the strike came as a 50th minute equaliser, it was not enough to stop Chelsea taking a 4 – 3 win away from the Stadium of Light.

Jozy Altidore gave the Mackems a 14th minute lead, but Frank Lampard issued an immediate response to level.

Eden Hazard put Chelsea ahead before half-time with this lovely strike, but he would go one better to restore the lead after O’Shea’s goal, collecting a Lampard back-heel before finishing just after the hour.

The points were made safe for Jose Mourinho’s side with six minutes remaining as Phil Bardsley turned the ball into his own net. Typically, Bardsley earned himself a second place on the score-sheet, cutting the lead back to a solitary goal minutes later.
