O’Rourke had his shoulder popped back into place and returned to the action before it happened again – and he still played on.
The Southern Star newspaper reports that O’Rourke had his shoulder popped for a second time at Cork University Hospital after the game.
It’s the second time this year that O’Rourke has suffered the injury.
Typically, a recurrence results in surgery and O’Rourke will now undergo surgery in early November – a procedure that could rule him out of action for up to five months.
O’Rourke also dislocated his shoulder in last April’s Allianz Football League final against Dublin.
