IRISH BOXER JOHN Joe Nevin will return to action in September, it has been confirmed.
The Olympian has been out of action after suffering two broken legs following an attack on him in the Ardleigh area of Mullingar.
Yet the 24-year-old is now back in training after a quicker-than-expected recovery following surgery, confirming on Twitter that his comeback is imminent.
The first opponent of Nevin, who turned pro following his Olympic success, has yet to be confirmed.
