YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. We’re fully aware that professional wrestling is “fake”, scripted, not a sport and whatever it is that you’ve clicked in to tell us.
But there’s no denying the incredible athleticism of some of the men at the top of the game.
John Cena is one of the WWE’s marquee stars and this week, he shared this video of part of his gym routine.
In it, he squats a pretty impressive 396lbs — that’s 180kg in real money.
(Ignore the video title which suggests that it’s 600lbs; Cena has since confirmed the weights.)
It’s by no means the heaviest one-rep max of a professional athlete but considering the stick pro wrestlers come in for, it’s pretty impressive.
What’s with naming a team a week in advance? Is there any other sport in the world that does this?
Roscommon will beat Leitrim. But after watching Galway yesterday, I can’t see Roscommon being able to beat them in the final.
