FRESH FROM HIS thumping performance against Kenneth Egan last weekend, Irish light-heavyweight champion Joe Ward returns to the ring in the World Series of Boxing tonight — and you can watch it live here.

Ward faces Denys Solonenko in the light-heavyweight division as the British Lionhearts take on the Ukraine Ottomans in London’s York Hall.

Boxing begins at 8pm, with the man from Moate fourth on the card.

And if you’re still awake in the wee hours of the morning, two more national title holders are in action for the USA Knockouts against Italia Thunder in Reno, Nevada.

Olympic bronze medallist Michael Conlan is first up when he takes on Riccardo d’Andrea in the bantamweight division, while super-heavyweight champion “Big Sexy” Sean Turner faces Matteo Modugno.
