RTÉ distance themselves from Joe Brolly's 'Baywatch babe' comments about Sky Sports

The Sunday Game pundit apologised to Rachel Wyse.

MONTROSE BOSSES HAVE told Joe Brolly to keep his controversial comments for the Sunday Game studio.

The RTÉ pundit apologised to Rachel Wyse today after he criticised Sky Sports’ new GAA team.

The former All-Ireland winner tweeted: “Sky = TV3 plus Baywatch babe.” Brolly later said sorry to the newly-installed presenter saying “it was not meant to be personal but it was crass and wrong of me.”

This evening meanwhile, an RTÉ statement reads: “The views expressed by Joe Brolly are not those of RTÉ and he has been asked to desist from making such comments.”
