Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels totally redeemed themselves at the Emirates last night

The Dumb and Dumber To stars got a chance to showcase their blissful ignorance of all things football.

PUTTING JIM CARREY and Jeff Daniels on live TV is an unpredictable game as Sky Sports found out on Saturday.

The Hollywood stars were at the Emirates for Arsenal v Manchester United as part of their promotional tour for Dumb and Dumber To.

Did they know much about football? No, not really.

The highlights included:

Some stellar photobombing by Carrey
A lot of dodgy pronunciation of Arsenal (“I’ve been practising for all of about 90 minutes,” Daniels said)
Analysis of some lad called Seth Morgan who apparently plays for “the Arsenals”
A sudden conversational detour into “manscaping”
And a terrace chant that the two wrote, performed in gloriously overbaked Cockney accents

“We’re all sacked,” reporter Geoff Shreeves joked afterwards. At least, we think he was joking.
