Rugby player sent off for stamping on opponent's face

Jean Deysel faces a heavy suspension after appearing to deliberately harm an opponent.

JEAN DEYSEL WAS sent off as the Sharks won away for the first time ever against Canterbury Crusaders today.

The Super Rugby clash saw the visitors claim a 30-25 victory that was undoubtedly tainted by their player’s behaviour.

Check out the video below, which clearly shows Deysel’s seemingly deliberate act.

Thankfully, the recipient of the stamp — Jordan Tafu — was not seriously hurt as a result of the injury.
